The Basics of Resonance Dynamics

You have a body and a mind but actually they are not separate! Your organic life is your bodily sensations, emotions, intuitions and private feeling life. It often exists in the unconscious, but can become conscious through tending to our organic reality. This is often done through exercise, meditation, sports, martial arts, sex, mindfulness or through connecting to nature.

This is the 'body' or what we call the 'organic body'.

Then you have a mind. This part of us actually grows from the realm of sensation and extends into the environment. It is like a vine that seeks the 'trellis' of the external field around us. This is how we grow into the world; firstly into nature, then into family, then the community and finally human society. There might just be something beyond all that we are seeking to grow into, too. But that is a matter of personal belief.

The mind or what we call 'transorganic body' is future oriented, uses language, is social and perceptual. It can do miraculous things, but is tricky to master as it has a habit of flying off and leaving us stranded here.

This interplay of the two major bodies, one rooted in what we can feel 'in here' and the other in what we can feel 'out there' forms the basis of the four types of human (eight types if you factor in males and females).

Men and women, in their bodies and minds, can tend to be either:

Fluid or Fixed. Soft or Hard. Searching or Settled. Associative or Derivative. Yin or Yang. Multipolar or Unipolar. Unfocussed or Focussed.

This actually has nothing to do with whether they are men or women in the traditional sense, it is just their bioenergetic blueprint.

Men:

Type 1: Yang-Yang
Type 2: Yang-Yin
Type 3: Yin-Yang
Type 4: Yin-Yin

Women:

Type 1: Yin-Yin
Type 2: Yin-Yang
Type 3: Yang-Yin
Type 4: Yang-Yang

The REAL Polarity Interactions.

This may shock a lot of people and upset a few. A lot of people won't want to accept this, but polarity occurs naturally between YIN and YANG, not necessarily between “women” and “men”, except of course where the connection is naturally there to begin with (for example between type 1 women and type 1 men).

What is confusing in regards to “chemistry” and “attraction” is that we each have our own INDIVIDUAL attraction navigation tool or what I call the DESIRE COMPASS.

And the way to read that compass is by understanding the difference between POLARISATION and SYNCHRONISATION.

They are both types of attraction, only they work in very different ways. What we are seeking is largely a matter of personal taste. Polarisation is what most people are familiar with when it comes to chemistry. The male-female mating dance, usually, or some variation of it with a bit of evolutionary biology thrown in with some modern 'dating psychology' to round it out.

Polarisation occurs through opposites, giving rise to tension and powerful MAGNETIC connections.

When the organic body is polarised in a relationship or interaction, we usually experience it initially in a highly sexual way. Over time, this can give rise to a general sense of stability in our body, as the magnetism can have a 'holding' effect. It can paradoxically feel edgy and even a bit dangerous but can also provide a sense of safety and security, depending on how the connection develops.

When the transorganic body ('mind') is polarised, we are turned on in a different way. It is through sharing thoughts, ideas, visions, hopes, fantasies and through dialogue that our extended self interacts with another 'mind' in a very powerful and 'magnetic' way. This is a little harder to understand than the bodily polarisation since it can be moving toward a future and is not 'embodied' here and now.

Then there is SYNCHRONISATION. This is what is known as resonance, when our bioscalar waveforms (or unique bioenegetic blueprint) locks onto the frequency of something “outside” of ourselves. This becomes what we know as being on the “wavelenhgth”, emotionally we know it as rapport or empathy.

Synchronisation is another form of chemistry, only it is vastly different to the polarisation chemistry. Instead of connecting us magnetically through being opposite in polarity, synchronisation connects us through the law of SIMILARITY. In other words, we can connect deeply and profoundly through being on similar wavelengths in body, mind or both.

Some modern teachers of polarity might dismiss the synchronisation as being in the 'friend zone' because it lacks the edge, tension and excitement that magnetised polarity dynamics bring. While it works differently to polarity, there is still potential for a deep level of attraction if the people know how to bring it forth. After all, having rapport is just as important as having the raw physical chemistry to build attraction.

Synchronisation brings an intuitive and spiritual element into our relating that is not possible if we judge connections through polarisation alone.

When the body is synchronised, we find a deep sense of empathy for another on a very tangible, somatic, physical and emotional level. While it can be intensely sexual too, it is not the same excitable energy as the polarised chemistry which has a sense of urgency about it. And when the mind is synchronised, we have the sense of being in tune mentally with the other person and having endless, satisfying conversations.

These dynamics actually play out in ALL our relationships, not just the romantic ones. They are in our workplace, family and social life as well as with all the mundane day to day interactions we have with the world at large.

To have the wisdom to see the dynamics playing out will give anyone the advantage in the most important interactions and relationships in their lives. Seeing the patterns can open you up to finding your own creativity to meet challenges, conflicts and confusion, replacing it with clarity and certainty and confidence.

The Dynamics.

So, if polarisation and synchronisation can be either “low” or “high” in both “body” and “mind”, we get the following scenarios in relationship dynamics:

Low Polarisation, Low Synchronisation Low Polarisation, High SyncronisationHigh Polarisation, Low SyncronisationHigh Polarisation, High Synchronisation

However, here is the really interesting part. Polarisation and syncronisation are actually interchangeable, meaning that where-ever polarisation is low or missing, synchronisation is high, at least in potential. That means you could call “low polarisation” “high synchronisation” and vice versa! In truth, there are no bad combinations or even a lack of chemistry per se. Rather its all a matter of choice and working out what your “sweet spot” is.

When we look at the Dopamine compass, we can assign one of the four directions to each of these four archetypal relationship dynamics. Instead of saying “low” and “high”, we will simply say either polarised or synchronised (meaning a high polarisation is polarised and a high synchronisation is “synchronised”). This gives us the following “directions” combinations (remember the body resonance is listed first, and the mind resonance listed second).

North: Polarised-SynchronisedEast: Polarised-PolarisedSouth: Synchronised-PolarisedWest: Synchronised-Synchronised

Each of the eight types have their own individual desire compass. It is specific to the person and their bioenergetic blueprint. The four “directions” are the same for everyone (meaning for instance, North will always mean “Polarised-Synchronised” for everyone. But what will change is which TYPES you will find in each of the four directions.

Lets use an example. Lets look at the desire compass (shown above) for a Type 2 Female (2F). In the North direction, we find the Type 1 Male (1M). This means that the all-important polestar partner* for a Type 2 female is a Type 1 male. In this combination, the bioscalar field produced through the INTENTION to relate is POLARISED on the level of the organic body and SYNCRONISED in the domain of the transorganic body (mind).

*While this is not necessarily about defining an IDEAL, we tend to view the Northern direction with utmost importance, as being polarised in body and synchronised in mind is the most favourable of combinations when it comes to producing a POWERFUL CONNECTION. It is the due north of personal desire, energy, motivation, passion and evolution (the dopamine of body and mind, the fuel of spirit).

So, moving with our example, we see that for a Type 2 Female, the Eastern position (“Polarised-Polarised”) shows up as a Type 2 male, meaning that this combination produces a biofield polarised on both body and mind. Moving to the South (“Synchronised-Polarised”), we see that a Type 2 female with a Type 4 Male produces the field where the body energy is syncronised and the mind is polarised. And finally in the West (“Synchronised-Synchronised”), we find the Type 3 Male producing the bioscalar field with both body and mind synchronised.
